I could not get it to load! I tried several times to get this to load to Windows XP and each time I got run time errors. I tried it on several systems on our network and one independent system, still nothing. I spent a long while trying to determine the cause. The program downloads to my system, the files are all there, but when the .exe is initiated, it stops and I start getting errors. I'm sorry but I had to remove the software from our computers.

better then most I find that this program once understood will go along way in allowing you to run wild with making your own recipes without having to worry about everything that goes in to a recipe, the work is done for you, I would recommend this program to my friends.

Don't like. Downloaded to an XP sp2 machine. The interface is impossible to decifer, so you start clicking around. The moment you do, it crashes. It does not follow any standards at all for interface design. Looks like it was built as a school project by a 12 year old.

Download and install was straightforward and was without hitch. Product is easy to use, insert your CD an click on Add CD and it reads the disk information and finds the album and track information from the internet. One drawback is that if you accidentally recatalogue the same CD again it does not warn you but adds it again with a suffix. You can add binder/wallet numbers in the location field to help find CDs. A bit key heavy but quite nice....howeverI don't see a way to add basic ingredients.For example, apple cider vinegar, chutney..I can get the nutrient amounts from the package(I need calories, sat fat, cholesterol)..

I downloaded three other recipe-builder-program free trials at the same time I downloaded recipe catalog, and none of them came close to the comprehensiveness and user-friendliness of recipe catalog. Where others had confusing menus and a seeming lack of guidance, recipe catalog stepped in to offer me all the assistance I needed in figuring out how to enter my data in the correct areas. This organizer is quite a fantastic idea. I like the possibility of sorting recipes in different books, which is what I can do. But I can not use the measurements and all other possibilities as I live in another country, Sweden. The other day I did something wrong. I can open my recipe organizer but I can not come further. Explanation: You closed the organizer wrong so it will be closed!But I congratulate those who came up with this idea. I uninstalled this software because it was just too busy for my use. After I started the program, something like four windows opened up, I started closing them and tryed to get a handle on the program. Which after a while I decided was way too much for my purposes and my computer. I was looking for something much simpler than your program. While your program may work well for some people, I was wanting something just to keep my favorite recipes organized. Thank you for the opportunity to check this program out though.

Cook'n stopped working for me after entering about 5 recipes, so I was unable to complete a good evaluation. However,it appears there is no easy way to copy recipes from a simple Word document without entering all the ingredients again individually. I do not really need all of the nice features in your program. I'm basically looking for something where I can: (a) organize m personal recipes (b) print them as a "chapter", (c) save them to a USB flash drive, (d) search by ingredient. After trying out a few recipe organization programs, I decided to purchase this one and did not regret it at all! It is very easy to enter your own recipes and do your meal planning in just minutes.

okay but not great I really liked the site and it was really easy to use. However, the "push" to sell me the upgrade to the organizer is so annoying that I think I will delete the program from my computer. I tried to enter new recipes today and every time I did that I got a pop up asking me to upgrade, I couldn't get past that. I hate things that say they are "free" and really aren't.

Haven\'t had time to do much more than \"kick the tires\", but the product seems to do a pretty good job in short order. Cataloging was quicker than I\'d expected, and searches are also snappy. There is one problem with filenames/folders that include non-standard characters. I mark a lot of folders with a leading Alt-251 character (√) to indicate they\'ve been dealt with. WCL translates that character into a lowercase \'V\', lists the folder name, but doesn\'t catalog the contents. This deficiency will keep me looking for another solution.

Nice easy to use. Allows me to catalog my external hard disks and search through them quick and easy. I have 8 external drives so its a big help.

Great software I have been using your utility to search my backup disks for some video files I have lost. I really like the way it works and I hope to get all of my backup disks cataloged in the near future. Thank you so much for sharing this with us!
